We’re in a land called Washington, Pennsylvania tonight. And we played a show at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
Our green room was a press box over looking a race track. That was pretty cool
And they had harness racing going on tonight… where the horse has a driver behind it in a little buggy…
Not exactly what I expected when I saw the giant race track… but it was fun.
One lady at the show tonight didn’t believe that my hair was real. She said that she told her friends there was no way it was mine and especially not naturally curly. When I told her that in fact it is mine and this is it’s natural curl… she told me I was WRONG.
: )
Mmmmkkk.
My other favorite from tonight was the lady that sprinted herself into a hug with me and then proceeded to scream, “I’m OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR MOTHER! I’m 56. But if I was a lesbian…” I’ll stop there because I’m not comfortable sharing the rest.
You can use your imaginations.
Tonight and our last casino experience (at Mohegan Sun) have finally helped me get over my terror from our very FIRST casino gig. It was so horrible that it scarred us all and made us vow to never play another one. But thank goodness we’ve come around. We had a blast tonight. I could do without my suitcase smelling like an ash tray again… but hey, If THAT’S my biggest complaint? We’re doing juuuuus fine!
1 more show…
then….
drumroll please….
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!!!!! And the Return of the King.
Boom.
Peace. Love. Fiddle.
